The Lite is a great deal lighter than the usual Varmint, particularly if it's going to be considered a lightweight hunting rifle. I've a CTR, a Varmint, and my son provides a T3 Lite in 270. The X-Bolt is usually a long action plus the Kimber is a very compact short action, so that th
